The Tagum City Council traced the ancillary services charging of Daneco in their last Monday’s session. Daneco BOD president Dean Briz, OIC GM Nelson Balangan, deputy GM Felix Hibionada and BOD treasurer Ananias Darjan Jr were finally there standing before the inquiring councilors during the question hour after the longstanding privilege-hour request of Konsehal Tete So two sessions ago.
The Daneco officials made their good stand enumerating and citing hard facts about monetary matters relating the power bills and the ancillary services charges that have already reached to P140 million + in balances that Daneco has yet to pay to the National Power Greed (err Grid) Corp.It’s the AS charges which have tripled the power bills of Daneco consumers in the recent months.
But Konsehal So pressed for more until presiding senior City Councilor Oyo Uy made a good move of referring the issue to a committee.
Why was So kept on questioning when he could just ask directly Briz in the known governance warroom of Mayor Cee O at the City Budget Office, where So also used to frequent and hang on? So’s moro-moro? - Al Rosero
