Congressional chief of staff Raffy G. del Rosario (RGR) is always in the rounds for his older brother Congressman Anthony G. del Rosario (AGR), who is on regular checkups by his doctors in Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California.
“Paikot-ikot pa rin ako sa distrito,” RGR said in an interview at the Davao del Norte Sangguniang Panlalawigan building.
He had come from the legislative office of Liga ng Barangay provincial president Vincent “Enteng” Floirendo when interviewed.
Asked on whether close to Liga ng Barangay Boardmember Floirendo, he said, “si AGR ang close ni Vincent… by their age.”
He said that he has been in the rounds for the congressional projects of Cong. AGR.
He added that still he is holding office in his brother’s congressional office adjacent to Tagum City Water District along the national highway in Barangay Magugpo North.
As bared by Governor Rodolfo del Rosario over two weeks ago, Cong. AGR is still on regular checkups by his doctors following his stem cell transplant, a new medical technology in treating the hodgkin lymphoma cancer that inflicted the congressman.
The governor said that Cong. AGR is already completely healed and between May and June 2011 he would be returning to the province as it would be April that the congressman would have his last checkup in the doctors’ timetable. The governor was qouted as saying, “hopefull”, “if nothing happens” as to Cong. AGR’s arrival.
Cong. AGR has never attended a session in Congress since he flew to the United States for his second series of chemotherapy treatment and first stem cell transplant in June 2010 before the opening of the Congress in July 1, 2010.
